Toad Rock

Many people believe that the rock is named after the famous person Colonel James Todd. He was famous for his extensive journey in the Western India. Actually the name was derived because of its resemblance with the toad shape.
The site is situated near the Mount Abu's famous Nakki Lake.

This site is  also perfect as a short trek route. When one reach at the top of the rock, they are the part of the magnificent panoramic view of Rajasthan's only hill station, Mount Abu.
Besides Toad Rock, there are other rock also, such as Camel Rock, Nandi Rock and Nan Rock. A cave where Swami Vivekananda was mediated for some time also situated on the trek route. This trek was not suitable for the old person as it has no steps and one has to cross the  rocky and rugged path to reach to Toad Rock.
Shamelessly the beauty of the path was destroyed by the people who are visited here. Empty water bottles, waffer packets, or littering almost destroying the beauty of the Abu's famous spot, Toad Rock.
